Keeping Kansas Safer
Judge Phillip Journey believes in family, freedom, and justice for all.
Maybe that is why Journey spent so many years as a reformer in the Kansas House. Before putting on his judicial robes, Phil successfully led reform to protect moms, dads, and children involved in domestic violence, and the rights of the accused. Journey even conducted studies on felon rehabilitation, leading change to lower recidivism.
Now Phillip Journey is a judge. He has presided over dozens of jury trials, and worked more than 45,000 cases. Judge Phil is a respected legal authority and a caring family man.

Phillip Journey has done so much for victims of domestic violence, now and in the future, I’m so grateful for his dedication to this effort.
I’m impressed with Phil’s management capabilities. His first time on the bench, he worked diligently, and caught up the entire department from 5 years of case backlogs.
